Marine Special Operations Team 8211

2d Marine Raider Battalion is an ArmA III Realism Unit that focuses on the teamwork, tactics, & weapon systems employed by the real Marine Raiders. 2d MRB was founded by members with years of milsim experience dating back to Operation Flashpoint with the goal of having a close-knit and drama free unit that performs outstanding in-game. We believe that the single most important aspect of an ArmA III Realism Unit is the in game experience. It has to be immersive, it has to have a high level of detail, and most importantly, it has to be fun.

Inexperienced ArmA players interested in joining an MSOT will go through the following training:

• Assessment & Selection (A&S)
  
• Individual Training Course (ITC)
  
• Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM) School (For SARCs Only)

ArmA players that are experienced and have been a part of certain realism units have the opportunity to bypass ITC & SOCM.

• 0372 Critical Skills Operator (Engineering, Communications, & Weapons)

Qualifying Level

• 0370 Special Operations Officer (Team Commander)
  
• 0372 CSO (Team Chief)
  
• 0372 CSO (Operations Chief)
  
• 0372 CSO (Communications Chief)
  
• 8071/SOCS-B JTAC
  
• 8071/SOCS-E EOD

• Minimum Age: 17 (no exceptions)
  
• Must have a copy of ArmA III and a valid Player ID
  
• Must have a microphone and TeamSpeak 3
  
• Must speak English
  
• An understanding of realism gaming (We DO NOT address one another by rank.)
  
• Must be able to attend operations on either Saturdays @2100EST OR Sundays @1900EST
