Marine Raiders is a Semi-serious Milsim Unit operating in ArmA 3. It is run by people who have played ArmA since 2010 and have grown tired of being stuck with the same loadout every operation.

We are a casual milsim group which use realistic scenarios, tactics and procedures. Our primary goal is to have fun. We welcome players from any country in the world that are serious enough to make missions fun to play but also “chill” enough to have a good talk and a laugh with. We are open minded and listen to our players' advice, host weekly unit wide meetings in which we talk about changes and the future of the group.

We do not use “yes sir” and “no sir” bullcr*p, and we don’t use real military ranks. Instead we use a simple ranking structure which allows us to still have some structure, and goals. You do not have to address anyone by their “rank”. Instead, if you have a problem with anything you can go to anyone in the group to talk about it and solve it.

Official Operations: Every Saturday at 1900 UTC
Unofficial Operations: They tend to happen daily and will be announced on discord
Server: We have a Takistan Insurgency server with basic mods to play on.

Unit Structure

Ranks Structure

Candidate - can join the official operations and play as an element member (is evaluated at the end of every operation)

Member - can join the official operations and play as an element member, Special amphibious reconnaissance corpsman in a tactical element or the team HQ element. Member can also train for additional roles (see below)

Non-Commissioned Officer - can lead tactical elements or play as a Team Chief or JTAC. They can also become instructors and train members on specific additional roles.

Commissioned Officer - can also play as Team Leaders and attend CO meetings.


Once you reach a higher rank you may play any of the positions below you as long as you have the training for them, and there is someone to cover the position you are leaving open in the official operation.
