For those who have not heard, MIDS will be becoming a part of the mobile engineers, this however, does not mean the end of the world lads. We still are sorting out how we will work within the engineer corps, but when that is set in stone you all shall be informed.



Now, a word from falcon strait from the MIDS thread:



Now to answer some questions:

Q) I am already MIDS, will I keep my rank ect...
A) Yes! When you join the Mobile Engineers you will keep your rank and gain the demolitions speciality, BUT, any current MIDS will have to reapply for Mobile Engineers. If you are accepted then you will be put into the demolitions speciality.

Q) I am in training for MIDS, what happens now?
A) I will finish training you. Once that happens you can then apply for the Mobile Engineers.

Q) Who trains people in demolitions now?
A) I still do.

Q) What about all of those weird MIDS internal ranks?
A) Those ranks were merely to allow for improvement MI rank wise, while still keeping a clear chain of command in the MIDS. We will find a suitable position for you in the ME.

Q) I am not happy about this.
A) Well guess what! It doesn't excatly matter. I like it because truth be told, running a group is a lot of hard work that takes a lot of social skill. It is very tiring. So I am happy about this, and I hope that my MIDS will share my opinion.
