Indie Game Dev

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the very late devlog, a lot of things have been happening in my life that I have to deal with. My mother being in the hospital is one of them which got me a lot less productive as well as not getting a job still. She's recovering right now but it might be a few weeks till she's 100% so I wont be saying when the next devlog will be but know that I'm still working on the game, albeit more slower than I'd like.

The last time I showed a preview of a sketch/outline for Nhara that I did and now I can show the prototype version of Nhara:



Some things will change in the final version of course and hopefully be better than this version. This is all that was done that I can show but I have drafted some gameplay ideas that will make the game more dynamic than linear and I'm really excited to try to prototype some of them when I'm able to.

Right now my main focus is to start catching up with my last devlog; to start animating Nhara, The Puppet, and the one enemy I created then implement them into the game. Once I'm done with all that I'll be creating some basic prototype levels to test how the current gameplay loop feel with what I have already implemented and if I have to tweak things to make them better. Next will be the audio implementation and finally release a pre-alpha which you all will be able to try while giving feedback on how everything is and what can be improved.
