Mortal.Kombat; AvP Community

Aliens vs Predator 3 as it has been established in modern day circa 2010, is a great idea. However, even as of feb 26th when the first patch & dedicated server support is announced (scheduled for next monday on the 1st March), there are still what seem to be obsolete frameworks within the gameplay structure that need to be addressed.

Mortal.Kombat; clan & community are here to set sure footed example. A framework of contructive criticism open for debate with anyone intrigued, if not at all interested, in establishing the firm understanding that they need to revisit development of some of this games finer touches.

It almost seems as though the question remains un-assessed, unaddressed, un-announced that this game is really a Beta Release wrapped in the packaging of a Commercial Release, & if so would it imply that they should revisit Project Development.

To elaborate on what this M.K group is about, it's simple; It is a statement, intended to be a library of information from people who have played this game hours & hours on end, who feel there's room for more functionality, more room to breathe, & a place where there's less disorientation lol.

A Statement Addressed to the AvP Developers & Sponsors from the entire AvP3 Gaming Community.

An example of Statement will be our first approached constructive topic; "Is AvP3 2010 a Beta Release".

Our first AvP3 for Dummies Manual for Aliens will be our first produced document. It's intention is to express how the game-play structure lacks 'any' long-term learning curves & therefore addresses the underlying question, "Is AvP3 worth purchasing".

If you already have the game already, here's our (what I gather we will all agree) Perfect Example. By the time you've read the manual, & have demonstrated it's dimentions in-game, you'll understand how really easy it is to play this game & OWN EVERYBODY (provided you block at the right time, follow the manual & have low ping) the way the developers of this game intended you & everybody else who owns this game to.

Ok, ROUND 1 of Mortal.Kombat;'s first Trial of Evolution has begun... So what are the Results? Who has been heralded Victorious in the first round... Here are the Results, to be Updated in Real-Time as the results come in....

Scorpion: Yes, it is quite embarassing due to the reputation I like to uphold. It's not the 2 & 1/2 weeks I've been away from the Game, nor the fact my System isn't up to Par, it's just st8 embarrassing.

KillSwitch - Hell...thats nothing, im used to it lol. Its more challenging against another pred then to a alien player for me, but..i never underestimate anyone :D

How do you feel after ROUND 1?
* Ghola88 - Fortunate. I had 350 ping but he was gracious enough to play marine. Against a Pred, the results are expected.

Any other thought's on your Win & what you are hoping to garner in the 2nd Round?
* Ghola88 - I believe it would have been far more interesting if he had gone pred. Next round would be interesting.

M.K; Juno - Dont go marine vs pred, especially on a Player Match, & the competitive nature. Not for me really, but I'll keep on it. If only being a Marine wasn't such a detriment to success.

Any other thoughts???
Juno - Player Matches are too laggy & I'll go Pred against Pred from now on. Save Marine for Marines & Aliens, thought I don't expect to fight many Marines.

There is also the Casual System to make the immediate 1st Tournament (The 1st Trial) to be facilitated in the easiest manner possible. This Casual System of gameplay, may also be utilised for future M.K; Tournaments... This System is as Follows...

The Rules of the 1st Trial of the Initial Evolution of Mortal.Kombat;

* Round by Round & Time Frames:
Each Round will be decided from the 1st. The first Rounds Player Match-Ups will be decided by simply who decides to enter & the time frame by which they enter. MEANING: If you make any player aware of The Tournament, Vs them One on One in a Player Match, prt sc (Print Screen) the results of the match to me [M.K; Scorpion.] to be made available for public display, then you have Entered, & Competed in ROUND 1 of this Tournament.

From understanding this information there is one more aspect to take into account. The Time-Frame of Round 1.

Time Frame: One Week approx - Two Weeks Max.

At this point we will move on to Round 2. Keep in mind, Round 1 may be over quicker, & also keep in mind this is a Casual Tourney System played at YOUR leisure so this is why there is time spaced between ROUNDS.

Lastnote: There is one more thing I'd like to point out about this Casual Tournament System. People have asked me whether or not they can actively Participate in the Ordinance of the Top 8, without being subject to the Time-Frames & needs of the Official Mortal.Kombat; Klan, & there is a Solution...

Players who wish to stay Casual will EARN the respective Rank of Calibre.

If you have passed the Trials & Challenge a Top 8 Member & beat him/her, you will retain their Rank & Status via Calibre...

Official Dedicated Players Heirachy is explained breifly as Follows:

Once a Top 8 has been Challenged & Beaten, they will retain the Rank of whoever had beat them, ie: Rank 14 Challenges Rank 8. Rank 14 Player beats Rank 8. The Ranked 14 Player is now Rank 8, & the Player who was Rank 8, is now Rank 14.

Here is where it can get confusing... Hypothetically speaking, if we use the same example to explain. If the Ranked 14 Player is a Casual Player, & the Ranked 8 Player is a dedicated Player (meaning he wishes to compete for Tournaments with Official Top 8 etc), Ranked 14 Challenged & beat the Rank 8 Player, the Rank of the Ranked 14 Player earns a Calibre Rank of 8, & the Ranked 8 Player Retains the Official Rank of 8, but loses his Calibre to the Rank of 14.

If the Player now at Rank 14 (Calibre 8) is somehow available to represent the Klan in a Clan War, he will hold the first choice over the Official Rank 8 (Calibre 14) in clarifying their position on the Roster for Clan Wars, unless Calibre 8 Player is again Challenged by Calibre 14 & beaten etc etc.

A Mortal.Kombat; Rules of Engagement Booklet underlying all the politics of Challenges will be outlined in this forthcoming Booklet. Untill then however, I'll try to make it as simple as possible for people to understand.
