JAN LAN 2017 Information

Below is a list of games that will officially be played at the LAN. Remember, you can always set up tournaments and games of any sort.

Paid Games:

• Left4Dead2
  
• CounterStrike: Global Offensive (****)

• Quake Live

**** - Wait on CSGO if you don't already have it. I am going to try to setup a custom server for us to use at the LANs from now on, but I am not sure if I will have it up and running in time.
Remember to check other sites for these if you don't have them already. You will save almost $5 per game just for being a VIP member and getting them from GreenManGaming (VIP is free)

Free Games:

A lot of these are based on the Source SDK Base 2007. This is a free SDK from Valve. It can be installed by clicking Library and selecting Tools.

Other:
As I mentioned already, there will be plenty of games not on this list being played. I am sure H1Z1, CSGO, Overwatch, HoTS, D3, etc will get played. I felt that the people already playing these games knew so and that the number tagging along because of the LAN would be minimal. Buy games as others play something you would like to get in on.

• Computer, Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Headset, Etc (try not to be too excessive with the size of your peripherals if possible. We are going to have more members than ever this year. I also Have a couple monitors to loan IF NECESSARY)
  
• Windows, Games, Etc installed and updated if possible. I will try to mitigate large duplicate downloads by utilizing the share WHENEVER possible.
  
• If you can bring tables and stuff let me know. Larger tables are better than card tables if possible as well.
  
• Something to sleep on if you are staying. I know I always sound like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but body sweat isn't good for couches and I don't not hate any of you enough to make an exception.
  
• FOOD! Snacks for yourself and snacks for the group if you would like. I will try to pick up some chips and stuff just to have around. Like usual it will be a bit of a whenever people feel like getting food in groups situation. We tend to do pizza one of the nights (Does help if you bring small bills to throw down with on this day). Plenty of food places around. Also there will be plenty of refridgerator space for guests to use.
  
• Warez to sharez - If you want to share movies bring them with. The TV downstairs has a full Windows 10 PC on it that will play whatever you want. I also have a large library to utilize.

I will have the steamapps folders for all steam games on this list shared on a network drive. I am also hoping to have a private server for most of our games ready to go for us by the time the LAN happens. I am still not positive on this but it is a possibility. Information for this stuff will be made available at the LAN.
