Every week here, we challenge the community to create maps with certain requirements or limitations. Similar to the Portal2cast, but they seem to have stopped.

So, now we want you to create the best maps you can.

01/02/2013 Portal... The first one.

I know tanger already did one of these, but I want you to create a Portal 2 map with Portal models, textures, and other stuff that was in the first game. If you don't know how, then look it up on the developer.valvesoftware website. I need maps to be created, seriously.

Oh, another thing: If you want to, you can import textures, models and sounds from Portal into Portal 2. Just use something like Pakrat to be sure everyone can see and hear these things.

Hammer maps only! No PTI!

The deadline: 15/02/2013. You have two weeks. Begin creating. ASAP.

First Challenge: Inverted Chambers

Well, here it is. The first challenge.

Chamber: The idea here is to create a test chamber that looks like it was built upside down. For example, having buttons on the ceiling instead of the floor.
You must create the map in the PTI editor, however, you ARE allowed to edit your map in Hammer. Remember: I should be able to tell that the map was originally a PTI map. Oh, and you are allowed to use BEEMod if you want.

1st Place: The creator of the 1st place map will be made a moderator. (Sorry I don't have anything for 2nd and 3rd).

I will make a video, but I will need FRAPS. So it might be a while before the video is uploaded.

Okay so it seems that no one is really managing this group any more and it seems that even AD_79 leaved it... So as I said in my first post here I don't have time to do that myself, but if someone here is really motivated to make new challenges I can make him administrator of this group.

You should advertise this. Theres barely 20 people in this group and luckily one to four persons has time to participate. This groups idea is great and I bet it attracts people to join, just if they would know about it.
