Thirteen years ago, I founded Light of Honor [Lite] to be a community for friends to play Guild Wars together without the drama, elitism, or discrimination that I had seen in other guilds. Over those years, hundreds of members came and went and we had countless good times together. I want you to know that I appreciate the participation and contributions of every single one of you.

It's with a heavy heart that I've decided to retire Lite. But this isn't goodbye. We'll be merging with our long-time ally guild, Kabal of the Righteous [Seed], effective immediately.

Kabal has been with us since the beginning, in both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2, and has branched out as a more general gaming guild. As such, members can join and participate even if they don't play GW2. I hope this will allow us to welcome back past members who no longer play GW2. Kabal holds similar values to Lite and many of us have already played together, so I think we'll be great together.

Here's what you need to do. It's important and only takes two minutes. Read Kabal's rules at https://www.kabalseed.com/#rules and click the application link at the bottom. You'll have to fill out a few quick questions. For "Where did you hear of us?", just put "Lite". We're planning to have a meet-and-greet event in a few weeks, so please fill out the application now so that we can get as many of us as possible merged in before then.
