Left 4 Dead ProMap Mod Group

This group is for L4D players and server owners to find others to play the mod with and to find servers to play the mod on.

Amins, please post a single comment about your server details if you're hosting the mod (please use the latest version - I'll post any updates here if I upgrade the mod).

If you wish to use the events tool, please feel free!

So the author of stripper source, BAILOPAN, has released a L4D2 supported version of his modification. This means that, shortly after L4D2 has been released, I should be able to spend some time on config maps for ProMap2, if the game does require it.

I'll post an announcement when I get the thread started on the Steam forum.

This updated version of stripper source removes the problem of slow map loading. The link on the first post takes you to the place where you can get both windows and linux files. Make sure you get the right files for your server!

I got messages from 2 people on this group sending phishing links. Both have been reported to Valve so that their accounts can be safely returned to their owners.

Be careful who you trust! Don't follow links sent to you by strangers!

Just to let you admin types know. There's someone who's called themselves Games Community and spamming a link to something supposedly related to Steam.

I use promaps!!! they are great very good job with them only one thing you should do about the corner camping in l4d dead air crane. IN THE ROOM THEY CAMP A BIT IT WOULD BE GREAT TO PUT SOMETHING THERE.
