Updates and news about the Kraxbots!

Someone said I should make a group with news and updates about my bots, mainly 0x0bf3f39, so here you go!

For commands etc. check the bot's profile.
All bots based off the KraxBot project and programmed by me is in the list to the right.

I also figured I would create a Trello so everyone can see what's happening with the bot and stuffs!

The new Steam chat is already out?

Here we are again, this time the new chat beta has been released to the public. This means the bot can no longer be invited to chats. I made a comment yesterday about a new update being released today fixing the issue, but that sadly won't be the case.

It's going to take longer than I expected as I need to wait for SteamKit to update with support for the new chat. It's in progress though, so it will probably happen soon. In the meantime, I'll refine the code so the launch is as smooth as possible.

I'll make another announcement when the public beta is in effect.

About the new Steam chat beta

As some of you may have noticed, with the new Steam chat beta, the bot is currently unable to join chatrooms. I'll look into what I can do to fix this, but it will probably be fixed in version 4.0, but I'm not sure when it will be out, since it will be a complete rewrite. Depending on when the new chat gets out of beta, I may have to get a basic version out first and then slowly add the features it had after that.

I'm currently working on the new rewrite, which will be made in C# instead of JavaScript, since the JavaScript library currently in use hasn't been updated since 2015. The C# one fairly recently got a .NET Core update, which is when I decided to switch to it for 4.0.
