Ok people I have my 2nd civ 5 server up and running. who would like to join a pitboss game.

In a pitboss game you receive an email when it is your turn to play, so you can login and play your turn and log off. If all players are logged in the game becomes a live game. A pit boss game can take a log time to play as you may have to wait over a day for a single player. But this gives you a lot of time for strategy and plan deals out with other players. This would be a Human only game.

The game will start With random leaders.

If you do not play within 48 hours you will be kicked.

FYI Diplomatic victory will be hard with no AI, and war will make your turns longer so it will make the other players angry.

Game Setup

• (Recomended:) Setup Steam App on your phone
  
• (Recomended:) Join the JaxHax Steam group
  
  1. Start Civilization 5.
     
  2. From the Main Menu, select Options, then select Multiplayer Options.
     
  3. Type in your Game name.
     
  4. Fill out the options in the Pitboss Turn Notification box.
     (Steam option sends you a steam message and/or Email sends you an email)
     
  5. Click Accept.
     
  6. Goto Main Menu->Multiplayer->Pitboss->Internet.
     
  7. In the IP box at the bottome Type 50.249.140.217 and hit enter.
     
  8. Select a civilization.
     
  9. Ready up by clicking the Ready Status checkbox for the local player.
     
  10. You can now exit the game.
      
  11. You will be given a turn notification when the game has started.
