The Nose

Jackie Chan is known for many things. He is a martial artist, a movie star, a film maker, a singer, and a philanthropist. Despite these many notable titles the one feature of Jackie that elucidates the most memorable response is his nose.

The size and overall thickness of his nose has garnered praise and is arguably his claim to international stardom. Psychologists, politicians, and the general public have argued for decades over whether Jackie's nose facilitated his astronomic ascension but the proof is in the science. Studies show that when the human body comes into contact with a visual representation of Jackie's nose the brain releases endorphin and increases production of serotonin. Pharmaceutical companies have begun trials on using images and even foam figures of Jackie's nose to treat depression.

While venturing across the expanses of the internet I wondered to myself the reason for the lack of worship that Jackie's nose has garnered despite the prevalence of worship in the expanses of the not-internet. I concluded that the glory and awe inspired by Jackie's nose has kept the masses in a faith induced fervor. In order to conquer this fervor Jackie's nose has appeared to me in a moment of clarity. My epiphany moment has culminated into the creation of this group.
