The One And Only.

A Shrektacular poem


I was in my room on the internet
"Dinner is ready" said mom.
"Not just yet."
I was sitting, looking at pictures of shrek
To the kingdom of far far away, I wish I could get.

When suddenly, the smell of onions scented the air
And out of the computer, came a bear!
"Come with me, to Far Far away!"
I quickly responded "Okay".

I appeard confused, somehow in a forest
Then I heard a chorus.
"Hey now you're an allstar,
get your game on,
go play"
They sang in syncronization.
Then I felt a strange sensation.

I became overjoyed
"WHAT ARE YOU DOIN' IN MY SWAMP, BOY?"
"Sir Shrek, is that really you?"
"NO IT IS I, THE OGRE OF BLUE"

To my suprise it was not Shrek
It was his evil blue doppelganger DREK!
"Oh great might Shrek, I summon thee!"
"What do you want, Laddy?"

"Shrek, attack!"
"Alright boyo, hop on me back."
Drek had a face of fear
as he knew his end was near.

Shrek threw Drek into the air
and destroyed him
with a mighty onion stare.

"Hey laddy, there is mutch more to do,
I have something to ask of you.
Will you join me and stay
so you can help me save Far Far away?"

"Yes, Shrek"
HOORAY!
I am here,
and here I stay.

We beat Farquaad
we beat Rumpelstiltskin
You wont guess
what happens then.

A portal opened up
"alright Laddy boy this is your choice"
"Should you go home, or stay with your boys"
"Shrek, I know it's not up to you"
"But I am going to stay with you"

That ends the tale of the noble fellow
who saved Far Far Away from sorrow.
