We are also known as the Devoted Acolytes for Education, Science and Humanism (DAESH).

Established in 1999 by George Orias Dickens (G. O. Dickens) in Syria, the Society was founded initially to gather the intelligensia and gather their knowledge so that it could be preserved. The idea quickly spread and many similar societies sprouted across the globe before unification occured under the banner of the Society. Today, the Society consists of 176 chapters in 203 countries.


The Society aims to promote intellectualism, scientific advancement, greater access to education and humanism.

We hope to achieve this by encouraging all intelligent individuals to go on a Journey of Intrinsic Hope and Discovery. (JIHaD™).

Through this, the Society hopes to create a better world with fewer Judgemental & Egotistical White Supremacists (JEWS) and Cretins Harming Random Intellectual Societies Through Irrational Actions Notwithstanding Stupidity (CHRISTIANS).
