Immortals

Immortals is a venture capital-backed American eSports organization, primarily known for their League of Legends team. The ownership group includes a co-owner of the National Basketball Association's Memphis Grizzlies and the band Linkin Park (through their company Machine Shop Ventures) - among others.

Immortals was founded back in November of 2015 in North America, by Noah Whinston, and currently has teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch and Smash. Their most recent squad, formed of 5 Brazilians, has become the second highest achieving Brazilian Global Offensive roster to date, only falling short to SK Gaming.

The organisation gained the core of it's current squad back on the 1st of June 2016, when the roster of Tempo Storm - HEN1, LUCAS1, SHOOWTiME, felps, boltz and coach zakk - joined the organisation. During 2016, Immortals had mixed results. They failed to qualify for ESL One: Cologne 2016, only to then beat Ninjas in Pyjamas in the finals of DreamHack Summer 2016 to win the event. Immortals continued to have mixed results, such as winning Northern Arena - Toronto and iBUYPOWER Masters 2016, but failing to make their mark on bigger events, such as ELEAGUE Season 2 and the ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals. Towards the end of 2016 and into 2017, Immortals went through several roster changes, including the departure of SHOOWTiME during the summer, the introduction of steel in November 2016 and later the arrival of former SK Gaming player fnx in exchange for felps in 2017.
