Update 1a: Restabilizing Reality, and the Future of the Sector

First off, major thanks to the participants of Saturday's test. We learned a TON of valuable stuff that will help us fine tune things and make iNS super fun, and to those who couldn't make it, there will be plenty more, so don't worry!

Moving forward into the next phase of development, there is a lot of work to be done, but I'm aiming for us to have the next playtest build of the server up on Saturday, November 12, with 2-3 more occurring between then and the end of December, for a tentative launch in early January 2023(!)

[CAPTAIN'S LOG ENTRY #11938]

Day 3,329. It's been 9 years since our Imaginary Number Sector was attacked by the rogue magician duo Penn and Teller. Disturbed by the sheer power of our wizardry, and unable to handle being the second best magicians in the universe, they set out to destroy the very heart and soul of the Sector, and they succeeded. All leadership was ejected into deep space, disbanded. We were crippled. Any attempt to put the pieces together again
was guaranteed to fail.

Due to popular demand, years of unrelenting lobbying on our behalf, the Council has unanimously decided to raise everyone's taxes and spend trillions of space dollars to rebuild and relaunch the once-legendary I.N.S. !!

iNS will be hosting a server playtest ALL DAY this Saturday! Come join us for some VSH fun as we avoid our problems and the general state of the world bathe in nostalgia, reminisce and help us work out the bugs before our launch!

**note: there will be no magic, to avoid invoking the wrath of Penn and Teller.
