No it's quite an old one actually. A remnant from when 2 hours were REQUIRED to obtain any cards at all.

But while using Idlemaster no there's no other fix.

My condolences in that case.

Yeah that's by design. You're meant to pray for booster packs (not actually viable, I have around 100+ card games and I get 1 or 2 boosters a month. It only gets worse the fewer games you got), trade with other users or buy the cards on the market. The last one allows Valve and the game dev to pocket some of your money in taxes.

You only get half a single badge, that's simply how Valve set the drops to work.

Once you gain the drops by any method (idlemaster or "normal") you cannot gain them again by any means.

Don't run in a virtual machine, Idlemaster can't cope with it and crashes when used in a virtual machine.

Oh, one question i still have, as Idle Master settings are set to run multiple games (or all of them) at once, doesn't that hurt the drop rate?
Always thought steam changed it when you let multiple games run that you won't get the cards as fast as when you run those games at once. So do i get the cards as fast as it gets when i let idle master run multiple games at simultaneously or should i stick to idle the games each individually?

A little, it's more a legacy setting from when Steam refused to drop any cards at all prior to the 2hour mark (so idlemaster would run all games for 2 hours, then individually for cards to claim).

In settings you can disable this and have it do them all 1 by 1 by setting it to idle all games individually.

If you mean total that's because you get 50% of 1 badge then your cards stop dropping for that game forever. That's just how steam is made.

If you mean speed-wise yeah Valve changed the drop algorithm. You have to change games to get the drops.
