Long story short: You've run out of cards to gain from the idlemaster program. Steam/Valve give you only half (50%) of 1 single badge level for free. The rest you're expected to buy or trade for.
In short your idlemaster "Car" is out of fuel. You want it to get you more cards? Buy or obtain (via giveaways) more card-giving games.

To pre-empt a few followups I often get:
"Can I use <Free to play game, usually TF2> for cards?": Yes but you'll need to pay them about $20 USD to get 1 free card. Not cost effective but a nice freebie if you would spend that cash anyway.
"How do I get more games?": Check the storefront for cheap deals, you can easily get games 50c or less. Or if you're unable/unwilling to pay, join one of the dozens of giveaway groups, who will host giveaways or link to giveaways (depending on the group)
"Will turning the cards into gems/trading the cards mean it will work after they're gone?" Nope. Once your counter hits 0 that's the end.

You got a CSGO-kick for using Idlemaster while running CSGO simultaneously. As MrL0GIC said, you're not VAC banned, you'll be released of your temp-ban in a week (VAC is permanent, what you have is not). We have threads warning that Valve raised their security and that this happens if you don't be cautious. We literally can't do more than go "Look, be careful here's how to avoid tripping Valve's stupidly oversensitive program". You chose to not read said warnings despite them being pinned and with such labels as "IMPORTANT".

Basically what MrL0GIC said. We're volunteers who help organise this forum, we don't get paid anything for our time, nor did we create idlemaster or give you any sort of contract or promise that nothing would happen. In fact if you read the FAQ and pinned topics you'd see there's some telling you that you can get kicked from CSGO by using Idlemaster improperly and how to avoid doing so. You ignored it.

Your entitled attitude is not appreciated. I will say now that we DO have the knowledge to help you to be able to either run Idlemaster safely or how to obtain ASF instead, but until you apologise for your attitude towards MrL0GIC I doubt either of us will aid you unless my fellow mod has a change of heart (because I can promise I won't. I've been doing this sort of thing too long.)

Well, the short answer is that I don't know. Nobody does yet.

That said, here's my THEORY on how it'll work (Which will soon enough change to reveal how close I am to the mark no doubt):

Idlemaster will NOT idle "indefinitely" because Valve will remove unclaimable cards from the badge list (which idlemaster uses to record the card presence). Thus IM will be unaffected.

As the system says nothing about changing how keys currently work, I imagine that nothing will change there. G2A and the rest will not change. If a game's key is bought off steam but the game itself is legitimate, no reason to think it'd not work as it currently does.

That'd be it indeed.

The closest we've had is accusations by people that IM caused their VAC ban.

That said, those same people have all CSGO achievements apparently unlocked the same second, multiple "Filithy cheater" posts all over their walls and apparently only own CSGO and some free games they got from giveaways. So the general consensus from the Idlemaster community has been that we're 90% sure they're just blaming anything other than themselves for getting banned for cheating in CSGO.

Assuming you do the most card efficient method (change games every 5 minutes) and the cards drop once every 2 rounds (so for simplicity we'll go "10" but you'll still have to follow the 5-minute-changes to achieve it) about 9340 minutes or 156 hours or 6.5 days.

Oooh boy. That's assuming you don't rest or dump or anything...

So, what'll happen is that new games which show no actual player presence, just idling bots, will not drop cards. It'll make it harder for shitty or fake games to make it onto the market purely for the sake of obtaining cards.

It will make those card-traders who only go out and use free-keys to get cards a little less viable, but those who have legitimate games will be unaffected.

Honestly, unless you're someone who runs 3+ card bots and is off laughing at Valve's "stupidity" while twirling your mustache you'll probably be affected quite minimally. You'll just be lead more towards buying legitimate games rather than obtaining swarms and swarms of games you'd never wish to play (due to them being unplayable masses of assets) for the sake of cards. Or just to buy games you like and get cards as a bonus, as Valve intended initially.


For the purpose of actual idling, you'd likely still need to play the game for some period of time beyond a few seconds, if only because not doing so will add +1 to the "this game is shite and nobody is actually playing it" pool and thus slowing down card-gain for everybody. What'll likely happen is that anyone who has played "enough time" will gain cards for the period they played. So if you'd normally get 4 cards for 2 hours, you'll gain those 4 cards immediately rather than needing to do ANOTHER 2 hours after card-dropping is enabled.

Disclaimer: This is just from what I understand so I may well be wrong.
