Version of IM makes zero difference on card drops.

And NO you can not get card drops for games that you do not own.

You are "stuck" at 0 because you have no more free cards let to get from playing / idling games. Free cards are not unlimited.

Free games do not drop cards unless:
1) They actually participate in the program (most do not)
2) You have spent approx $9 USD to be eligable for 1 card drop.

Idle master has no control over how fast cards drop. That is entirely up to Valve.

Make sure you have no more free card drops remaining. Look at your badge page. If there are games thre that say you have card drops left. Exit IM and restart it. It will tell you how many it has left in the IM window.

Also free card drops from playing/idling are not unlimited. If a game has 8 cards you get 4 free drops (1 half of the cards) after that you need to trade or buy hte rest to get all the cards you need to craft a badge. Also you can get dupe drops.

Out of curiosity where have you read that using Idle Master while playing a VAC game can result in a ban 2 weeks later?

Because according to jshackles, the author, he has hear no such reports. He even says people from Valve use the program.

IM is not a cheat program. There is zero reason for Valve to ban people from using it while running a VAC game.

Just like if you actually played the game. Thats hoe Steam/Valve designed it.

IdleMaster just allows you to idle games making Steam tyhink you are actually playing/running the game.

The biggest advantage being that you do not have to download games and actually be running them. Freeing you PC to do other things. Even play another game.

You can't idle to get all the cards you need to create a badge. If a game requires 8 cards to craft a badge then the game will drop 4 cards from idling/playing and even then duplicate cards can drop.

To get the remaining cards to craft the badge you need to trade or buy them.

If you are just running the free version you will never get cards. You need to make in-game purchases to be eligable for cards.

Add IM to your Firewalls whitelist.

What does the top half of Idle Master say you have left for "# card drops remaining" and "# games left to idle" ??

If it says zero then you no longer have games left that have cards to drop from playing/idling games.

Card drops are not infinite.
