Free games do not give cards unless you purchase something in the game.

I suggest you give that a read.

Also if you go to your badges page you will see all the games you own that have card drops remaining.

I know that there is an offline mode. I'll rephrase my answer.

When you are set to offline mode (even in the friends list), as far as I know, you can not get card drops.

I'm running IM now after setting myself to offline in my friends list. So far zero card drops.

EDIT:
I stand corrected. If you set your friends list to offline you still get card drops. It just took 45 mins to get my first card.

So yes you can set your status to "Offline" and still get card drops.

Also to add .. this is a normal login process that is used by MANY websites as well. Like Steamgifts.com It uses OpenID. It's the same type of system that sites use when they ask you to log in with your facebook account or twitter account.

It is a safe and secure way for programs and website to see your profile. All it can see is what you already make public.

You passwords and login information or any other personal info is never sent to these websites or third parties.

May I suggest adding the address bar to the popup browser so people can see the URL is safe and real.

Also maybe add a help window that pops first describing what the login feature does and how it is used. With the option to check off "Do not show again"

@Drunk Monk ... The program is Open Source. Anyone has access to the program and can see what it does and does not do. That being said if anything was going on it would already have been revealed a long time ago.

There is no way for it to not say what game you are playing. Just like htere is no way to do it in the CLient.

As far as Steam is concerned you actually are playing that game.

It may have something to do with Internet Explorer.

Do you use IE to browse the web? You may have to enable cookies so it saves this information and remembers you next time you open Idle Master.

Once a game drops all the free drops you need to buy or trade for the rest to get a complete set to craft badge.

There is no cool down.

You are getting no more drops because you already received all the free drops you can get when you idle or play a game that has trading cards.

I took a look at your profile and all the games that have cards already have 2 hours or more of playtime which is more than enough time to drop most of the cards. The game that have less than 2 hours already gave you all the free cards as they are now sitting in your inventory.

You do not get an unlimited amount of cards from idling a game. If a game has 8 different trading cards it will drop 4 free cards. Some of these cards can be duplicates of ones you already recieved for that game. Once all the free drops are gone you will need to get the rest of the cards to create the badge from the Steam Market or by trading with friends.

This is a complete shot in the dark here but it could be an issue with Internet Explorer or Steam Guard.

Have you ever logged into Steam on Internet Explorer?

Open IE and log into your Steam account at http://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/
If you have Steam Guard enabled it will ask you to enter the Steam Guard code to verify it is you.

After logging into Steam using IE try Idlemaster again.

The first time I ran IdleMaster I had that issue too.

I just closed down IM and restarted it and it cleared itself.
