[SOLVED] Help with linux version
I use ubuntu 14.04 but I'm still kind of a linux noob. I need help to set up idle master please!!

You run it with python2 start.py

Make sure you have all the required packages for python

But when I type that in the command line, nothing happens :c
And I don't know how to get those packages, or how to know if I have them!

Running the Python version of Idle Master in Linux means you'll need to install the application's required libraries before it can be executed. In Ubuntu this means running

sudo apt-get install python-bs4 python-requests python-pil.imagetk python-colorama

Then launching start.py

Ok i have it install in manjaro (arch Linux) How do i start it? There is no gui.

Install python if you don't already have it, then install the required libraries ( python-bs4 python-requests python-pil.imagetk python-colorama). edit "settings.txt" with the correct information. Finally open a console, navigate to the location of start.py and execute it.

Thanks but nevermind I will just do it the old way download and run my games. This is becoming way too complicated. Too many people are having too many problems with this script. Im just glad i didnt pay for it.

It's free, so you don't have to pay for anythong and the 15 minute setup is really worth it :)

How to run Linux version under Linux Mint 17.2?
I have all dependencies installed, but i can't run start.py. All i get is file start.py opened in text editor, also i had no luck with opening of that in terminal.

EDIT: Nevermind, i helped myself. I had no idea this needs to be run with special command.

I put up a little summary of the things I did to get it to work on Ubuntu(with help from the internet)
So here's what I did:

1- Download idle master python (clic on clone or download):
https://github.com/jshackles/idle_master_py
2- Extract the zip then browse to Releases/Linux
3- Configure settings.txt as shown in this video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-jeMjxrorM) or "Setup Instructions - Start Here.pdf" under Documentation
4- Install needed libraries (Ubuntu example):
sudo apt-get install python-bs4 python-requests python-pil.imagetk python-colorama -y && sudo apt-get update
5- Run the app:
python2 start.py
