so im using osx, and i got all the info. setup, i tried pressing start and the process says 0 games to idle and then process completed blah blah. Could someone help me out?

Double check your Badges page to make sure you have drops remaining. The yellow boxes in this image show where you check.

Free-to-Play games do not give any drops just for adding them to your Library, you must spend 9$US for each drop. Non-F2P games give half (rounded up) the number of cards in the set. Duplicates will count against your allotment of free cards. Trading/Selling/Using the cards will not grant you replacements.
