Check no files are getting deleted by anti virus etc.
Its a trusted program and you should not have any problems with it

I've been having an issue with idlemaster as well trying to install it again after having to format my hard drive. I keep getting this error message:


I tried the portable version of the app as well with no luck either. I'd try to log in, it'd bring up the log in page, then it'd want me to put in an access code steam would send me for the "browser" being used for the first time. I'd do this as normal, just for idle master to not be logged in and I have to do the whole process over again. (with a new code being sent to me and everything)

Not sure what's going on as idle master was working fine the last time I used it. (before reinstalling windows 10)

Disabling the virus scanner didn't help either, so it's not an issue of that blocking anything for me.

(sorry for stealing your thread OP, but you seemed to be having the same issue I am, so maybe we can luck out and get a fix together as well)
