If I'm not mistaken idle master uses Internet explorer as its browser right? If this is the case, I think that is what is causing the issue here. I decided to try going to steam itself in IE (which NTG actually suggested yesterday and I missed on that list) and IE goes not responding and has to recover on just about every page that loads, including when you put your access code in.

With the latest build of Windows 10 (the fall update that forced a re-install) it seems that internet explorer has become broken. So with IE broken, idle master becomes broken as well.

Can anyone else confirm that it's not just my IE that is having issues with the steam site?

Having this same issue and my log matches Mobin1's log, so no point in posting it here as well lol. I've tried the steps that can be tried provided by NTG, but none help me install or log in with the portable version of the program. (I say the steps that can be tried as .net 4.5x is integrated into Windows 10 by default, so you can't uninstall it to reinstall it.)

I bet the person with this issue is on the latest build of Windows as well. The one that forced people to install the OS again. That seems to be the common trait with the issue at hand.

I know before I had to reinstall windows due to a huge failure, I could use my already installed Idle Master, but after I had to do the fresh install, that's when it seems to have stopped working for me.

It's starting to sound like idle master might need an upgrade to be compatible with the latest build of Windows 10. I too am having similar issues (except I can't install it and the portable version gives me a log in loop) and I am on the latest windows 10 build from the fall update.

I've been having an issue with idlemaster as well trying to install it again after having to format my hard drive. I keep getting this error message:


I tried the portable version of the app as well with no luck either. I'd try to log in, it'd bring up the log in page, then it'd want me to put in an access code steam would send me for the "browser" being used for the first time. I'd do this as normal, just for idle master to not be logged in and I have to do the whole process over again. (with a new code being sent to me and everything)

Not sure what's going on as idle master was working fine the last time I used it. (before reinstalling windows 10)

Disabling the virus scanner didn't help either, so it's not an issue of that blocking anything for me.

(sorry for stealing your thread OP, but you seemed to be having the same issue I am, so maybe we can luck out and get a fix together as well)
