Valve limited my card drops after a gift was refunded, anyone else have this issue?
I sent a gift to a friend but they did not accept it before Valve's auto return policy, the gift was "refunded" so now I think Valve flagged me as a refunder

Since then, my cards do not drop like they used to. Prior to the gifts being refunded, I could get my first card drop after only 5 min of recorded time. Subsequent drops would only take 30min - 2 hours, but typically the drops were 30 min - 60 min

Now, I don't get any drops until after 2 hours, so I know there has been some restriction placed on my account. I haven't tried yet but I'm worried every drop might take 2 hours now.

Has anyone else experienced this/had the limitation revert back to normal after a certain time? I hope it's not permanent this really sucks

It's very likely permanent because they've decided you got a refund, that's a one way street.

You could try support but my hunch is they won't know what you're talking about and they'll just spout some annoying rubbish so as they can close the ticket.

It's because a tech implemented the 2 hour refund system and customer services are never trained well.
