Login issue was fixed in the newest version of Idle Master Extended (v1.8)
please update first and see if it works before you continue this post.

This is for those who just wont give up Idle Master

this still works for Idle Master Extended, which will solve:

Login window just disappears after submit (can't login)
Always shows Idle Complete (actually session error)

try it if you got same problem.

which fixed the previous glitch due to web steam update, download it before you proceed.

please reply if it works for you, and which will also bump the thread that will help more people.

Before you start

Remove ANY file or folder which was for storing login data that are located here:
C:\Users\"USER NAME"\AppData\Local\IdleMaster
sometimes it will cause IM won't start new login session

Get this plugin for browser: Cookie-Editor

For Chrome[chrome.google.com]
For Firefox[addons.mozilla.org]
For Opera[addons.opera.com]

Install it and login to web steam with your browser,
after you logged-in,
press Cookie Editor button,
you should see something like this:

What we need here is "sessionid" and "steamLoginSecure",

now open IM settings and click the "Lock" icon in the left corner,
press the "Eye" button,
paste the text you got from Cookie Editor,
if your steam has parental protect enabled, paste the text in too,
when you done it should look like this:

Press the Update button,
and IGNORE the not valid message https://i.imgur.com/xmOArBN.png
close settings window,
your IM should now works fine,
and the problem shouldn't bother you in a while until login session expired

There is an EASIER way as well.
Go get Card Idle Remastered. After you open it you will see a "Time Idle" option. This one does not require you to log in but it needs your steam client open.
Simply click on the + button and add the games you want to farm your cards (or farm time). You need to type the game id number or simply put its store page url.
After it locates it click ok.
Do this for every other game you like.
Press on the small Play button on each game afterwards.
You will need to close manualy each game done farming. Multi farming WORKS.

And the easiest way ONLY if you want to farm a single game. The catch in this one is that it requires the game you want to idle to have achievements.
Get SAM (steam achievement manager) and simply open the game there. Then just leave it open until you get all cards. Do not mess with protected achievements and statistics.

I agree,
but since other browsers won't work as easy as chrome does,
I just teach with one method that works for 3 top browsers for less pain of editing this thread
