The official touge meetup place for AC (Work in Progress)

Hello.

Many of you may have noticed that ACtouge activity has died down. There is no need to worry, I'm still involved, behind the scenes.

With the release of 1.0RC many things changed, namely sounds for mod cars were made mostly unusuable. The physics improved for the better, making ACtouge far more appealing and realistic now, and we got some cars which can be used. Namely street tires got added to some Elises, thanks Aris.

I personally also have school and other more important things taking up my time and energy. ACtouge was founded during the summer, when us highschoolers had too much time ;). In the future I will have even less time, but due to the autonomous nature of this group, it will be fine. There are some people and things in my life worth spending time with more than AC, I'm afraid.

I have been planning some things and the MX-5's release will be the start to those. Once the MX-5 comes out, we WILL have an event of some kind with it and maybe a competition now that the fairly easy to drive Trento Bondone got released. New apps that support our activity are also coming out.
With the release of 1.0, the dream pack DLC will supposedly be up to preorder, and I hope many of you do that. The AE86 will be in the pack, I believe, so that's enough reason to. With the AE86's release, there will be events. Same thing with the CBA35 GT-R, which will be free IIRC.

Until something happens, I advise you to improve your touge driving skills and try to hit at least 1.5 sec from many current world records in AC, as I have been doing, so we can have some real competition.

I am planning to release a "touge bible" essentially, at some point in the future, in .pdf form most likely, illustrated with pictures from AC and other sources. It will be a no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, sometimes step to step guide to driving safe, fast and under pressure on public roads. It's just a concept right now so don't wait for it ;). It will also apply mostly to simracing, with some pointers made to real life, so no, I am NOT encouraging people to go do that in real life! Following the guide should work for real street racing, though...
