Groove is a pick-up realism team. We are normal players, some of in units, some of us not, who desire to play a lot of realisms. When one of us has a realism, a Groove call goes out. We like to challenge units to pick-up realisms with who they have available. We have no ranks, no practices, and no drama. Think of us as a sports team rather than a regular unit. Doubling is expected, even encouraged. We expect our players to have realism experience, and to use their connections to get us realisms to play.

Fall Brawl ’08 Realism Open
Fall Brawl is a realism tournament hosted by Team {{Groove}}
8-Team Tournament Draw, Single Elimination
Rounds of the Tournament will fall on the 17th(Opening), 18th (Semifinals), and 19th (Finals). Times are left to the team leaders to arrange for a mutually favorable match start.
8-Man Roster, substitutions allowed at halftime. Teams with less than 8 members may also compete, but will still face full-strength teams.
Maps: dod_sturm, dod_donner, dod_saints, dod_mederet.
It is the responsibility of team captains/leaders to meet with the other team to chose a mutually favorable time to conduct the realism.
Weapon Restrictions: 2 Thompsons/MP40’s, 1 BAR/STG44, 1 .30Cal/MG42. As many Garands, M1 Carbines, K98’s, and K43’s may be used by the appropriate team. Pick-Ups are allowed of friendly weapons only.
Round duration is limited to LIVE+30 minutes. Set-up time is limited to 15 minutes from the conclusion of the last round.
Hosting servers will disable or refrain from use of mods. Weapons Mod, Smoke Grenades, and SMGs for Bazookas are all illegal.

Standard Realism rules apply. To clarify:
Best of 5 Rounds. Aoffense/Bdefense, Adef/Bof, HALF+SWITCH, Aoff/Bdef, Adef/Boff.
Following this, a 2-2 score will result in a cap-out, followed by an Attack-Attack
round. Teams have 20 seconds from the cap-out to deploy from spawn.
Capping out during normal play results in a loss of round.
No boosting on defense. Offense OK.
No recycling. The grenades come with the weapon, or they don’t.
Killed players switch to Spectator immediately.
Ghosting is strictly prohibited. If referees conclude that it has occurred =disqualified.
Players are allowed to commit suicide during the set-up phase, but any deaths after live
is called are counted. The console will be used as a reference.
Glitching is strictly forbidden, in all its forms. Referees will issue a private warning to
cease, if continued will result in disqualification of team.
Registering is simple- CO’s or team leaders contact Foriano {email bsz6@case.edu} with their roster. Team size will be 8 men, but alternates may replace them after round 2 of the realism.
