Center of Gifting Operations

This group has the intended purpose of organizing gifting events amongst members and their friends, centered around the concept of sending gifts to friends without expectation of gifts in return (generally during the summer and winter sales).

Please note that gifts sent through this group should be sent to people on your firneds list with an attached note encouraging them to pass on the feeling of receiving a gift along to another friend in their own list. This concept has the possibility to spread a gifting chain across our own personal Steam communities, however the only way a chain this large could ever occur is with the support and commitment of each member of this group.

Note: This group is NOT solely about gifting. Feel free to make threads and comments regarding anything you want, just try to keep it as minimally vulgar as possible (no promises from me personally).

Gift Center Monthly Update

The month of April is here, which puts us one month closer to the end of the school year (for those of us enjoying our public or private education) and as well one month closer to the summer season, which means Giftmer.

I know I haven't posted much information about Giftmer since this group's founding, and I can't really say I have much more to release about it since it's still off a ways into the future, however I can say that this group has grown by leaps and bounds in the past couple of weeks, so thanks to all of you that have been adding your friends! I'll probably start making more announcements in the near future, so keep checking the page for any updates that you might have missed.

Next on the agenda is to let you all know that you can use this group for any trading, gifting, and selling transactions you may have for any game you want, trading cards included. I for one am a TF2 nerd, so if anyone's interested in trading stuff with me, I'm looking for Soldier and Demoman equipment at the moment.

Finally, if and when a Spring Sale occurs I want you all to know I myself won't be participating in a gifting spree since I'm already saving up for the Summer Sale. That being said, feel free to give out gifts while encouraging others to do so, since that's really what this whole group's about. Of course I'm not forcing any of you too, but if you have the financial ability and the heart of gold necessary, why not? Regardless, a gifting spring will be unlikely, so just start preparing for summer!

Easter Gifts

Well, sadly to say I'm too poor to send out any gifts this Easter so a gifting-chain won't be occurring as a result. That being said, I do encourage anyone willing to send out gifts, even if it's only to people in this group. Regardless, happy Easter and look forward to more Giftmer information in the near future!
