GOG is giving away free stuff... again.

GOG is having a sale and System Shock 2 is free for 48 hours. In the sale every user can earn XP and get badges by buying games and doing certain tasks. The more XP you get the closer you are to get a free game.

There are 3 tiers regarding free games:

TIER 1:
Game: Spelunky
XP needed: 5000xp

TIER 2:
Game: Gabriel Knight
XP needed: 1500xp

TIER 3:
Game: Dreamfall Chapters
XP needed: 30000xp

There is an especific amount of XP that you can get for free and depending on what happens in the GOG community during the sale its possible to get enough XP to claim Spelunky for free.

According to the FAQ GOG will be doing a series of events in twitch.tv in which the community will be involved by giving us "challenges". If the community is succesful in this objectives every single user of GOG that checked in that day will get an XP boost, regardless if you participated in twitch or not.

The sum of all the free XP is a maximum of 4900xp. You would have to buy something to get Spelunky. However the XP boosts MIGHT help us get to the 1st tier for free.

To get free stuff:

1- Go to https://www.gog.com/
2- Log in/Sign up
3- Go to https://www.gog.com/summer_xp
4- Claim your free System Shock 2 copy
5- Complete the community tasks to get XP (they dont take more than 5 minutes)
6- Scrol down to the "Check in" button and click it
7- Be sure to check in everyday to get more XP
8- Pray for an XP boost.
