Group going to sleep

At the moment, it appears as though thorn's steam account is.. different. He appears to have deleted all of his friends except for two, and changed his steam name to "theAj". I am not sure exactly what happened, as I haven't talked with him in a while. I am now the owner of the group by default, because I was the first of the then-current officers to accept the invitation and join the group.

As I said, I haven't talked with him in a while, I haven't talked with ANY of my friends in a while, because I was anxious, and the longer I spent figuring out what to say, the more I felt like I would be rejected for not saying anything for a while. A feedback loop.

The fact is right now, thorn is gone, this group is about game night with thorn. He may not be gone forever, but honestly, I have no idea what has happened to him. We could always change the name, turn it into a gaming group, but nobody has posted anything here for a long while. If we wanted to make this a gaming group, nothing's stopping someone from just making a new steam group. Also, thorn stopped having game nights months and months ago.

At this moment I am going to put this group to sleep. I have disabled new members joining without an invitatation, and I'm not going to invite anybody. I have kept the current moderators/officers but have stripped most of their permissions from them. Existing members can still post comments, make new discussions on the forums, etc. I will hold on to the group, and if thorn returns and wants the group back, I would be happy to give him what is his.

But for the moment, this will be a memory of fun times past. We can only hope for the best.
