About "G59 Records"

G59 Records is an independent record label formed in 2013 in Louisiana by rappers Ruby da Cherry, $crim and Ramirez. Germ, Shakewell, Night Lovell and Chetta are now also part of the roster. Since January 2021, G59 distribute their releases via The Orchard.

The meaning of Grey is that it is a way to show that they don’t discriminate against skin color. White and black together to make grey color. They have friends from the East and South ends of Highway 59. And that’s where the 59 comes to the name. It took a different meaning when they started calling it as ‘'G59 clique’‘.
