What do you think about municipal police having access to military weaponry?

My opinion, if you're interested, is that it's a terrible idea -- the ♥♥♥♥'s expensive, for one, so imagine maintaining it. It's dangerous without the right training and, with aging military equipment, accidents could happen without proper handling or care. Plus, you've got issues of racial bias and falsifying evidence to contend with in the population of municipal police.

It just sounds like a recipe for disaster.
