4.5% of all tf2 players

4.5%.
(Public for the first few days, easier than having to invite everyone)

Invite everyone you know who got flagged for using the idle program.

This isn't a political statement or boycott or anything. Just a group only for people who got flagged for using the idler. If we actually get everyone in the group, it will be interesting to see what the actual numbers are.

Otherwise, it's just us showing pride for being among the elite 4.5% ;)

アイドルソフトを使ってチート扱いされた仲間のグループ。Valveによると全体の４．５％だけであるが、実はまだTF2をやっている人数だけの場合はそれより大きいな数のはず。

Octo,head admin at Tf2 Newbs (www.tf2newbs.com) has been tracking the number of players with and without halo's visiting the 11 Newbs servers. The ratio is working out to be a hell of a lot more than 4.5%:

If you know anyone who has been affected by the cheat detector sweep, then invite them to the group!

Its the only way to truly have a close approximate count of the 4.5%.

Did anyone get a halo that still got flagged for idling? I joined this group right after Valve took away all my idle hats (a couple years back) but eventually I got a halo anyway. WTF is up with that? Anyways, thanks for being awesome everybody in this group!

{Xeno} I Don't Heal Halos[4.5] - I was the one who banned you, I didn't ban you for your name, I banned you because you were causing a disruption on the server with your arguments in chat and your active refusal to heal people with halos. If you want to go stir people up thats your choice, but its also my choice to remove disruptions from the newbs servers. I've wrote several blog posts about how I didn't think it was 4.5% and I've given people the ability to rant about it if they want to out of game, but the moment you bring that into a game on one of my servers I will treat it as griefing. I'd do the same thing if you were giving people a hard time for being a wall sniper or playing pyro. Your beef is with valve, take it up with them the players who got the halo didn't ask for it, and they didn't even lobby against idlers (at least not anything large scale) so I see the whole 'dont heal people with halos' thing like kicking a puppy in the face because your city outlawed cats.
