celebrating 14 years of failure.

failsport is a family. Originally founded in 2002 as a Counter-Strike clan, we have since branched out into countless other games; we end up playing most competitively at some level or another, for better or worse. Fourteen years later, we're still failing together.

As a CS team we ended in CAL-Main season 17 of CALeague and were seeded 32 in the 2004 CPL World Championships.

As a WoW guild we were one of the best on our server, both in PvE and PvP, and 103 in the world during T12.

fourteen years and on and on...

So we've made it to year fourteen -- one year longer than our target demographic whom we aim to destroy in video games. We've changed games, lost members, added new ones, but the core group is still here for the most part and we keep gaming-on. Drama has stayed low and been purged; 13-year-olds have been slain and we still are planning the failhaus. Our status-quo has mostly been maintained.

The failsport WoW guild has been disbanded per my desire as of late 2016 January. All other failsport team/solo games are still on-going. We've had a wild ride and plan to keep the slow-but-steady momentum rolling forward. The Steam group will never die.

We're here after all this time, and we'll continue to be -- in some form or fashion -- until I construct my particle accelerator at the failhaus mad-science laboratory and collapse the world into an artificial singularity. Until the, have fun and fail on you failspartans.

It was (and will always be) our stated mission to slay 13-year-olds in CS (and have one last slice of pie), and now failsport are as old as the scrubs we still set our crosshairs on. Whether you play CS, DotA, WoW, EVE, or any other game, you should be proud that we have outlived our hated enemy and have drank the countless, delicious tears of crybabies who cry "hax" (psn being the exception with his CS/diders cheats). People even still don't like us in WoW, the tear-shedding nubs.

We're still in this ♥♥♥♥; bew plays too much WoW (come play EVE/WoW with me); semi's nets still suck; vith still has a hardon for DotA bots; Dan's still an ass; psn cheats; rdv and the fat kids crew need to win ESEA championships or stfu about GO; cj and Andrew are still in that channel; and the rest of you, well, no matter where I or anyone else met you (insert love here for my raiders), keep on failing with us in every way possible -- just have fun doing it and accept your failures as undenyable successes.

I (bew) and we (the old CS roster) love you all, each other, and every one -- and for 13 years running, never-the-less.

Now tell me that wasn't an emotional update.
