Friday the 13th: The Game

This is a Steam Group for the upcoming Friday the 13th[f13game.com] multiplayer game successfully funded through Kickstarter.

The game is a third-person, asymmetrical multiplayer title where one player controls Jason Voorhees while the remaining seven control camp counselors trying to survive the night. The counselors can all work together against Jason or the situation can change and they can turn on each other.

The Kickstarter for Friday the 13th: The Game ended yesterday, November 13, successfully reaching its intended funding goal of $700,000 and beyond. The campaign ended with $823,704 USD total collected, unlocking with it 4 "Jason kills" stretch goals:

$700,000 - Sleeping Bag kill
$725,000 - Mirror Smash kill
$750,000 - Head Crush kill
$775,000 - Rip Your Heart Out kill
$800,000 - ???

There has yet to be an announcement if the team will allow "slacker backers" to continue funding the project through Paypal, thus helping the developers and the community in reaching new stretch goals. Hopefully these details will be revealed soon.

UPDATE: Randy Greenback has confirmed the Slasher Backer campaign is coming soon. Along with it, special rewards will be announced that could not be included in the Kickstarter campaign.
