BACKGROUND STORY IN 2016

I was interested in buying an expensive game, but I wasn't sure if it would be a good fit for me, so I trusted the "most helpful" review and made the purchase. Unfortunately, I regretted spending long hours trying to handle the complex controls for over two weeks, and the progress was not enjoyable.

The same thing happened again because I trusted a "very positive" review rating to buy games. I learned a lesson: readers might not have the same preferences as the reviewer. As a result, I started writing an Expectation Checklist to help others avoid wasting their time and money.

Why is English written badly?

❌ Reviewer is a Professional English Writer
✔️ Reviewer is a poor educated gamer

Getting paid to write review?

❌ I do patron and collect donation to write review
✔️ No, but I receive some free copies

Review is biased & incompetent?

❌ I have no prejudice, but others has
✔️ I have prejudice on game like everyone else

Why so many flaw in review?

❌ I never do any mistake in my review, I'm perfect
✔️ If you discover the mistake I made, please inform me

Why there are so little review available?

❌ We have many reviewers provide numerous of reviews
✔️ I'm recruiting 2nd reviewer, welcome to join us

Why is this group have so little follower?

❌ Plenty of free time to play & write
✔️ Limited free time to write & service

❌ Unlimited gift free game to attract new follower

❌ We're good in judging pros and cons

Back to 1985, "Clue" movie was the classic example. Three different endings were distributed randomly to cinemas. You literally didn’t know which one you’d get.

Later on 2018 "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch" (Netflix interactive film) provided 5 endings for viewer to experience them.

Today, in 2026, Back to the Past (尋秦記) allows you to see both endings in the cinema! Some might consider one of them just an Easter Egg ending, but I think it’s a great way to create sequels based on fan expectations.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this “add-on” in cinemas. Would you be okay with seeing an alternative ending? Or would it confuse you if the movie sequel became messy? Share your opinions with us!
