Lusted has posted a beta Mod so that we may test the changes to unit balance in the upcoming patch (whenever it comes out).

If you want to test them for multiplayer, you'll need to set it up as a MP-compatible mod, as a number of people with the beta mod enabled have incompatible versions. To do this, download the Pack File Manager (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=234546) and open the pack using that program. Right click on the left portion of the screen (it should say MP_balance_test.pack there), mouse over "Change Pack Type" and select "Patch". This effectively makes the pack MP compatible. Run the game normally.

Note that this is only an unofficial workaround a couple of us have discovered, and that it should Only be used to test the mod. Change the pack type back to "Mod" or move the file out of the Data folder to play the game as you would otherwise.

Since this is MP compatible, you'll need to make Doubly Sure to disable the pack if you want to play normally. I'd recommend testing the mod in a locked game to ensure other players don't accidentally join. Do otherwise, and terrible untold things may happen . . .
