Those of you with paid accounts will have a nice surprise in your hanger in the form of a Snowball Launcher and 300 Snowball MMVIII.

Long story short, back in 2005 the EVE populace got given snowballs for a christmas present, and much win was had. Unfortunatly the snowballs melted come march and we didn't get anything in 2006 or 2007.


But we have them again! They run on different rules than you would assume, however, so read below.


Snowballs can be fired at everybody anywhere with no agression. In other words, if you snowball someone they can't shoot you back with a real gun without the usual involvement of CONCORD or sentry guns.


Snowballs cause no damage. In 2005 they used to actually heal damage, I am unsure if it is the same this year. The snowballs are bound to melt come some time next year so if you want to use them, use them before the end of december!


The launcher cannot be refined despite what the description hints towards im afraid, which is a shame as the old ones used to refine for a crapload =/
