Welcome to the Half-Life 2 Deathmatch Freaks!

I'm thinking about having a Half-Life 2: Deathmatch competition on one of my servers. I need to know who has hl2dm and wants to join in. I'm thinking about doing the prizes as follows:

1st Place: Your very own server! Pick a source game and I'll set it up for you! Source games are: Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Garry's Mod 10, and Day of Defeat: Source. You can also choose Team Fortress Classic or Counter-Strike 1.6.

2nd Place: Admin on two servers of your choice!

3rd Place: Admin on a server of your choice!


So the scoring system will depend on how many people play, but I'm thinking about doing it like this:

First, let's assume we get 16 players in total. This is how it will probably work:

Round 1-
Mode: Team Deathmatch, so there are two teams, Rebels and Combine. 8 players on each team.
Winners of round 1 will be the 6 players from the Rebel team with the highest score and the 6 players from the Combine team with the highest score at the end of a 45 minute game. 12 players will advance to the next round. In the case of any players with tied scores in the top 6, they will play 1v1 for 15 mins. Who ever wins the 1v1 continues on with the rest. If the 1v1 is a tie, it will be repeated until someone wins.

Round 2-
Mode: Team Deathmatch, so there are two teams, Rebels and Combine. 6 players on each team.
Winners of round 2 will be the 4 players from the Rebel team with the highest score and the 4 players from the Combine team with the highest score at the end of a 40 minute game. 8 players will advance to the next round. In the case of any players with tied scores in the top 4, they will play 1v1 for 15 mins. Who ever wins the 1v1 continues on with the rest. If the 1v1 is a tie, it will be repeated until someone wins.

Round 3-
Mode: Team Deathmatch, so there are two teams, Rebels and Combine. 4 players on each team.
Winners of round 3 will be the 2 players from the Rebel team with the highest score and the 2 players from the Combine team with the highest score at the end of a 35 minute game. 4 players will advance to the next round. In the case of any players with tied scores in the top 2, they will play 1v1 for 15 mins. Who ever wins the 1v1 continues on with the rest. If the 1v1 is a tie, it will be repeated until someone wins.

Round 4-
Mode: Deathmatch, so there are NO teams, every man for himself.
Winners of round 4 will be the two top players at the end of a 35 minute game. 2 players will advance to the FINAL ROUND. In the case of any players with tied scores in the top 2, they will play 1v1 for 15 mins. Who ever wins the 1v1 continues on to the final round. If the 1v1 is a tie, it will be repeated until someone wins. The player with the third highest score receives 3rd prize. If the slot for 3rd place is tied, there will be a 1v1 match to decide the winner. If the 1v1 is a tie, it will be repeated until someone wins.

FINAL ROUND-
Special!!!! This will be played on three maps. One map will be dm_star_wars, one map will be dm_killbox_ggo and the final map will be the standard dm_lockdown. Each map will play for 30 minutes. Each player will have his scores from all three maps combined and the player with the highest score will be the WINNER!!!!
Mode: Team Deathmatch, so there are two teams, Rebels and Combine. One player on each team.
The winner of the FINAL ROUND gets 1st prize!!! The other player receives 2nd prize.
