Future game development company

In a near future, I will study game development designer at university and while I'm studying I'll slowly create my own development team as well as a company for that purpose. I have great plans for game development including a platformer game, fps game, open world rpg elder scrollish game as well as a Sims-ish game. I don't like the concept of DLC:s and would rather make a full game and expand the games through real exansions worth the money consumer spend. Today, the gaming industry has gone shallow, just like the music industry. I do dislike the big popular mainstream games since they're like the "Justin Biebers" of games.

University of Skövde - Game Development program

As mentioned in an earlier announcement, I'd enrolled for the Game Development program with specialization of Game Programming. It has now gone a couple of weeks and it has been a really awesome time with many wonderful new people I've met and got to know. I can already feel how this future game development studio and future company of mine is starting to materialize.

At start we got two courses running parallell with each other. Programming Methodology and Game Analysis. After these two courses are done, it will be time for two other courses during the second half of this semester. Computer Graphics and Game Programming. After that, when the next semester begins, it will be time for our first game Project where we will be grouped with the other specializations (Game Design, Game Writing, Graphics/Animation artists and Sound/Music).

I do look forward to this, to work with other people!

Yes, you heard right! I got good news! A couple of days ago I checked my application and I saw that I was enrolled for Game Dev. - Programming! I never thought I would manage to get a spot since the competition for the programs related to game development are very high. I have no idea if this is just pure luck or fate but whatever it is, I can start my game development career for realz from September 2! Also I can officially announce Dexx Developments as a real game development team! However, one-manned right now but I do suspect I will get more people in my team within a foreseable future!
