What is this?

This was a modpack for Left 4 Dead that was inspired highly of the TRS-build of Left 4 Dead! It was not going to be a full-out "beta" conversion; instead it was going to use assets made by me and my friends to give you the best Left 4 Dead experience you can have!

This modpack was also going to be somewhat modular, so you can choose which you'd rather use as for certain things there will be multiple skins or sounds!

Farfield Terror Update is Now Live

Hey guys, Sang here. In case you didn't know the new update came out a few hours ago. This will very likely be our last update. The whole reason it was released was because I never liked the way we released the campaign at first. I feel much better about how the campaign is now and we are all proud of it.

A L4D2 port will be worked on when we have the time, but as of now it's not our priority. Thanks for understanding.

Fairfield Terror Update (UPDATE)

Yes, the headline is pretty funny. But if you read the previous post you'd know we originally planned the update for the end of June. Well, that didn't happen. Sang's town ended up getting flooded and a bunch of other things just pilled up! But we've been working very hard these past few weeks to make a nice big update to Fairfield! Currently only for L4D1 but the port WILL have an update too! Currently we've added more Easter Eggs, fixed some inaccuracies, and added new areas! Here is a small changelog of some of the things we've been working on (full release will have the entire changelog)!

+ The helicopter pilot on the Apartments map will now shut up and leave if all survivors enter the apartments while he is still talking

+ Lighting overhaul

+ Restored the Early 2008 color correction (YES THE REAL THING!)

+ Easter eggs have been added to the campaign maps

+ Made the tunnel for the traincar leading to the generator room wider just like the Early 2008 footage! (remember that Fairfield Terror is recreating Early 2008 NOT 2007)

+ Fixed poor lighting and unfinished skyboxes in the Hospital Interiors and Rooftops maps

+ Added a new loading screen with never-before seen TRS survivor artwork!

+ All computer monitors in the campaign emit light now, and when broken, turns off the light

+ The finale helicopter flyout scene is removed. You can move around in the chopper and fall off if you want to while he flies out!

+ A bunch of accuracy fixes

+ Added traffic lights that actually change lights in the Apartments map

+ You can now see the elevator in the elevator shaft in the Rooftops map

And that's all the major things so far, as stated before, the entire changelog will be released WITH the update! Expect this update to come out either by the end of this month or VERY early next month! (depending on what happens) Keep on killing, survivors!
