Good news everyone!

The Cuttle Scuttle dev team is in the process of adding and deluxing a few new features before announcing the long anticipated release date of our game on Steam! :GlorkConcerned:

Some of the features players who bought our Beta version on itch.io won't have seen include: interactions between various non-player species, an awesomely destructive prawn trawler, chemical contamination and insane algal and jellyfish blooms! :sliphazard:

Adam's done a great job enriching the game and squashing bugs as we've progressed through wave after wave of playtesting at home and at various public events since 2014.

The initial release will drop THIS QUARTER and will be available on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.


We can't wait to share the finished game with you. :partydisk:

Where's the project at?

Since being greenlit here on Steam, we've been working away at deluxing the game ahead of its full commercial release (date TBC). Major improvements to special levels are underway, along with multiplayer enhancements, Steam achievements and more.

Furthermore, all purchasers of the Beta version on itch.io will receive a free Steam activation key on the day of its release here. https://danimations.itch.io/cuttle-scuttle

Hi @Chickenboss510 ... yes, it's absolutely about surviving and reproducing! We're getting closer to release all the time, and we've added multi-language support too. Spanish will be ready before Japanese or Chinese, I'm afraid... but many more translations are underway. <3
