What is CommyMod?

CommyMod is a project started in July 2010, involving the popular Steam game Garrys Mod and, more so, the idea that a game can be completely driven by the community.

How is CommyMod community driven?

The gamemode which CommyMod is based on, DarkRP, is a light RP base that is easily customizable in every way via LUA. Users can post their own contributions to the gamemode on the forum that they have coded themselves, and once it has gone through review and is accepted it will be implemented into the game. Alternatively, users can suggest an idea by posting it on the forum following a simple format and the community can discuss it and code it into the game if suitable.

How can I get involved?

Its easy! Wether you are a normal player who just wants to enjoy a well built GMOD server, or a coder wanting to experiment and contribute, all you need to to is register on the forum here.
