Checkmate

- is usually referred to a situation in a chess game in which one player's king is threatened with capture and there is no way to meet that threat. So delivering checkmate is the ultimate goal in
a chess. Following the same principle as a Team. CheckMate Gaming embodies dicipline, loyalty and coordination.
Checkmate Gaming members serves and protect their king, in this case the "king" are the members itself.
Checkmate members are obliged to help one another as they help themselves in achieving their goal.
One of our goals is to checkmate our enemies.

Real life history:

Checkmate guild was founded by a group of gamers who are highly competitive on role playing games.
Although we are competitive in gaming, most of us do have works and school to attend to so if you are asking, yes we do have a life :)
Most of the members of the guild are from Philippines although others are Filipino by blood others are currently living
on other countries outside the Philippines.

All post in this guild thread should be in English and in accordance with the Forum Rules. However you can speak freely in Filipino or any other languages in-game/guildchat/skype as long as it is not defamatory or hateful to other members.

We do not tolerate any kind of Third party programs. A member who is proven guilty with this act would be automatically expelled from the guild and will be reported immediately.

No begging. We will always help other members but please understand that we cannot always assist you at all times.

GAMEPLAY
- Fixed how magic damage is amplified when there are multiple sources of bonuses.
- Death Prophet: Fixed Exorcism healing never resetting.
- Enigma: Tightened selection area of Eidolons to make picking individual units easier when they clump
- Gyrocopter: Fixed Call Down not slowing magic immune units.
- Spectre: Spectral Dagger now properly trails invisible units.
- Spectre: Fixed various properties of Haunt illusions being incorrect.
- Tiny: Fixed Craggy Exterior working on illusions of Tiny.
- Visage: Fixed Roshan decreasing Gravekeeper's Cloak charges.
- Visage: Fixed Gravekeeper's Cloak not restoring its layers independently of one another.

UI
- The Smooth Drag option now works for anyone that's spectating (whether through DotaTV or as a broadcaster).

- Added preview for summoned items like the panda and watcher golem to store and backpack.

BOTS
- Fixed some incorrect timing calculations that were causing bots to miss some last hits.
- Fixed Practice vs Bots not properly selecting the nearest server.
- Fixed Death Prophet bot to know about the true range of Crypt Swarm.
- Fixed bots thrashing selling a situational item (dust, wards, TP scroll) to purchase another situational item.

WEBAPI
- Added Captain's Mode Picks and Bans.
- Added ability upgrade order and times to each player.
- Added inventory for additional units (Lone Druid's Spirit Bear).
- Added an API for getting match details in the order they were recorded.

Team Drafting

Drafting for the Main CM Gaming League Team will be on Jan. 27, 2013 8pm (+08:00 GMT - Philippine Time) this is to be in favor to those members outside of the country. 5 players will be picked and as for the players who will not be in the main team will be in the CMG Reserve Team.

The game will be a best of 2 out of 3 5v5 match between CM members and will be administrated by me and the other spectators who would like to spectate the match. Meaning, anyone from the CM Facebook Group & CM Steam Group will be allowed to watch and judge the game and pick their votes for their best player in-game.

You can also invite your friends to join and play for CMG, well of course if he/she will be picked for the team. :) Happy gaming. Good Luck!
