Earlier today I recieved this message from CLOUDCUBE hosting:

Hi Everyone,

The downtime today is due to preparation at the datacentre for the final stages of protection to be put in place before the cross connect is installed.

the downtime could last up-to 24-48 hours - if it's not backup tonight by 8ish~ it'll be up tomorrow.

You'll have your accounts credited for the downtime."

The short and simple version is that new hardware is being installed that will render DDoS attacks completely harmless. This is a big thing as one of the servers in the cloudcube network has been on the recieving end of several of these attacks, the effects of which have lagged the entire hosting network. Its not just us, Its all the servers that got hit with lag. hopefully now we wont need to worry about lag anymore.

So please bear with us, this downtime should be over soon.
