Protect your time and wallet. Avoid filthy potato games by all means.

Greenlight (launched 2012) had good intentions but without strict moderation and rules it has become only a money cow for Valve. As of 2017 over 13 000 games were Greenlit and over 15 000 released. Within those 5 years that is an average of over 200 games per month, avg 6 per day.
It is questionable whether all these games are even worth playing nor worth a price tag. They rather flood the market and sink titles that would actually need attention.

As of 2017 Greenlight has been replaced with Steam Direct which just slows down the flooding.

Twitch is like a Hooters restaurant but without the spicy wings.
