Team Fortress Classic - Class Wars

Hello everyone! I'd just like to say that overall our first session of class wars was TONS of fun! All in all we only had about an average of 10-12 players in the server, but even with as little as 10 players the game was always fistey and full of action. We did start off the session with a few bumps though, such as the whole friendly fire thing, which is now completly fixed and will not be repeated again next time. Anyway, this is just the first of many games to be held, and hopefully we can get the server popular enough so it's running full 24/7! :)

Here's what you can look forward to for next week: (Hopefully)

1) Earlier Session - Next weeks class wars will be held *probably* on saterday instead of friday, and will also be earlier in day to accomidate those in other time zones better.

2) Voting - I'm working on an updated version of the class wars plugin which will allow for adminstrators to control which classes are dukeing it out, so with that being said we'll have some more customized games instead of random ones.

3) More map variety - although dustbowl seemed to work out the best, we did have a few games on 2fort which was fun for a while too. I'll look into hosting a few additional maps, prehaps "Well" - if we get enough people, for added fun.

4) Hopefully more people! Bring a friend, bring two friends, bring four friends! The larger the game, the more fun. I'm going to try and get some more people interested, so we'll see how it goes.

All that being said, there is one negitive note I do unfortunently have to add. The session ended a little earlier then it should have -- only because someone crashed the server. This was NOT intentonal. I would NEVER shut down the server - espescailly not in the middle of the game. IF the server spontenously shuts down next week, please, wait two to three minuites and REJOIN, as I will have the server back up as soon as possible. If everyone rejoins the game will continue, instead of halting as it did this time.

In summary, this was a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing you guys again next week!

PS: One last question - I'm thinking about hosting a game on friday AND saterday next week - if you guys can, please let me know which day you'd be more interested in - or if you'd be interested in comming to both. It'll help me organize games better and accodimate everyone all the more.
