The time has come for us to offically close DoP. 5 years ago Pantheon, Drakand and I started playing and enjoying TF2 alot and so Pantheon suggested we start a group and so DoP was born. Since then some wonderful and unexpected friendships have been made, lots of fun times have been had and many lasting memories have been created. DoP has seen some highs and lows as is only natural, but I hope that for most of you, you will take the highs and good times and always remember them. It is a sad day to be saying we are officially closing DoP because this group has been a large part of my life for so long, but it is time for us to move on. DoP has not been an active group for a long time and has mostly stayed around due to social circles that have formed and small groups who game together, but the time of TF2 has passed and people just don't have the time to commit to making a group run like they used to.

Over the last year we have been combining alot of our activity with the AG Community and new friendships have been formed within the two groups. Because of this we have decided to start a new private group for anyone in either community to join. It's purpose is to be a social hub, a place where those that want to stay in touch easily can and so that groups who still game together have an easy place to communicate. A Teamspeak server will be maintained for everyone in this group to use, details of which will be provided in the new group. Everyone within this group will be able to post announcements and create events, there will be no moderators but for the purposes of handling Teamspeak (making people members etc) there will be people given Admin powers.

As of today DoP has been set to private and in the coming days comments and posts will be disabled. The group will not be disbanded and deleted but kept for nostalgic reasons. You are more than welcome to stay part of DoP as we will not be kicking anyone, but the page will be completely inactive. If you would like to join the new group it will be announced soon and you will need to contact Drakand, Doctor, Ziltoid, Sharkaloons or myself for an invite initially, however once your friend has joined they will be able to invite you themselves.

Thank you to everyome who has made this group what it was, to all the wonderful people that provided laughs and good times and to those that I've formed close friendships with. DoP would not have become what it did without all of you supporting us. Good luck in the future to everyone and I hope to see you in our newly formed social hub soon :)

I just wanted to say a big thanks to anyone and everyone who's been a part of DoP over the years from inception to now as it's the people who've made DoP the fantastic experience that it has been. I've made a lot of friends through DoP that I never would have met otherwise and for that reason I will always remember this group with so much thanks and happiness. I hope that others have had similar experiences and memories and feel the same way, I still proudly wear the DoP tag as my own way of remembering all these positives and I hope everyone will continue to enjoy the social opportunity that we have now, which DoP has ultimately been about, which is having people to play games with because that's what brought us altogether initially.
