Okay, so now I've got the proof of an actual tournament, happy? We moved the tournament date back to where Holodek's would be, since they changed theirs to our date. All the info is right here on the link below, but also posted.

$35/per person EARLY Prepay June 14th-30th
$40/per person Prepay July 1st- 17th
You may pay by PayPal (information to come), credit card by phone, or in person.

$45/per person at door
*** Teams and persons paying at door are last to gain entry due to limited space.

*** Subject to change: Depending on number of players and teams, a 1v1 tournament may be added. Cost will be $10 dollars. Prize breakdown on location.

Deadline: July 17th, 2009

Registration is on a first come first serve basis. The first confirmed teams will be admitted into the Event.
All teams must have at least 3 of 5 players Pre-registered and paid by the registration deadline (7/17/09)
to be confirmed.

There will be NO refunds provided once a registration payment has been made.


-Prizing (Based off 8 teams participating, prizes adjusted based on number of participants)

1st: - $400/team + 5 Gamestorm or Counterstrike T-shirts + 5 Gaming Hours @ Gamestorm per person
2nd: - $75/team + 5 Gaming Hours @ Gamestorm per person
3rd: - $25/prize + 5 Gaming Hours @ Gamestorm per person

Maps: (In order of rotation) Dust2, Inferno, Train, Nuke.

Group B: 8:00

Tournament Format-
Day 1: Double Elimination , 2 groups of 4, top 2 teams advance.
Day 2: Playoffs/Finals

-Game Settings-

LAN GUI WILL BE PROVIDED, YOU MAY NOT USE ANY OTHER GUI.
CONSOLE WILL BE REMOVED, IF YOU NEED SOMETHING CHANGED, ASK ADMIN.

****Show up at least half hour before your group time****

The following actions ARE ALLOWED during a game:

* Throwing grenades over walls or roofs
* Binding “stopsound” to any single key that does not perform another action
* There is no restriction on the amount of grenades purchased
* Bunny hopping is allowed without a script
* Silent running is allowed without a script
* Binding “+duck” to the mouse wheel

The following actions are strictly prohibited during a match and may result in a warning, round loss or disqualification of a player or team from the tournament:

* Using the console at any time
* Any form of a script
* Using bugs/glitches which change the game principle (i.e. spawn bugs)
* Moving through walls, floors or roofs
* “Silent Bomb Plants” (i.e. planting a bomb which doesn’t make sound)
* Planting a bomb so that it cannot be defused, this does not include planting a bomb that requires multiple players to defuse
* Defusing a bomb through walls or roofs
* Boosting with the help of another player is allowed in general, but is illegal in places where textures, walls, ceilings or floors become transparent or penetrable
* “Flashbugs” (i.e. throwing a flash grenade that flashes an area where the player can not clearly see the flash grenade)
* Throwing grenades under walls
* External voice communication programs or software are NOT allowed (i.e. ventrilo is not allowed)

NOTE: You MUST be able to play in any of the groups on Saturday, July 11th, 2009. No requests for specific
start times will be accepted.

No outside Food or Drinks will be Allowed, Snacks and Drinks are available for purchase.

REMINDER: BYOC is allowed. Players may bring their own keyboard, mouse, headset, and mouse pad. There will be a limited quantity of equipment available to use if you would rather not bring your own.
